Mediation is a process where both parties meet with a neutral third party (a mediator). The mediator’s job is to encourage communication and assist in settling a dispute. Mediation can be preferable to a trial because the parties themselves decide the outcome. There is always uncertainty in leaving major decisions to a judge or jury, and finding a compromise may be the better course of action.
I am a registered mediator in both Domestic Relations (Family Law) and General Civil Mediation and have completed over 80 hours of training with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. I combine these skills with years of litigation experience to assist people reach realistic settlements they can both agree on.
Give me a call to discuss if mediation may be helpful in your case.
